Cat Gilbert
Cat Gilbert has worked in design and media for over 10 years. Trained as a fine artist she quickly moved to the world of publishing and media at Martha Stewart Omnimedia in NY. She joined the hospitality industry working with such brands as Dedon, Tucci, Fabricut and also with interior design firm Eve Robinson Associates. In 2018 she joined the YGD team as a Sales and Marketing Associate and has found her niche elevating and celebrating the consistently inspiring fusion of art and design that YGD provides.
Jennifer Abbott
Born and raised in Manhattan, Jen was interested in interior design from a very young age. After completing an B.A. in Communications, she returned to New York to work in public relations & advertising before deciding to pursue her longtime passion for design as a career path. She earned a Masters in Interior Design from The George Washington University. After completing her Masters, she worked for DC architecture and design firm, DBI Architects, and global design/build firm, Unispace, before joining the YGD team. Jen has designed workplace, hospitality, restaurant, retail, and multi-residential spaces. During her years as an interior designer, she worked on award-winning projects and gained valuable experience and insight which assist her in working with designers from the product side at YGD.
Monica Blair-Smith
Graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science, Interior Design. Monica found passion in developing custom designs through experience at Walt Disney Imagineering and Stantec developing custom furniture, lighting, and patterns for textiles. Monica was always inspired by Yellow Goat’s unique fixtures and jumped at an opportunity to be part of their team! She is now a Design Associate with Yellow Goat Design based in the Philadelphia office. Monica collaborates with interior design firms across the country to develop unique one-of-a-kind light fixtures, sculptural art, and screens for commercial and residential interior spaces.
