5 Questions with... David Davis, Rottet Studio

We sat down with David Davis, Managing Principal at Rottet Studio, where he oversees the interior architecture and design practice of the firm’s global offices.

Best advice you’ve ever gotten?

That would be from my husband, who always says “choose to be happy”. 
I can be grumpy sometimes.

Your place to get creative?

Whatever space I’m struggling to assemble for my husband and me.  Currently, that is a house in the middle of the desert in Joshua Tree. The Joshua Tree is the struggling part; the desert moves at a different pace than NY.

Favorite iconic original design?

Eames Lounge Chair by Charles & Ray Eames (1956). Great for looking and sitting.

Less is more, except when more is better.
